W. Thomas Musser Elected 2000 ABC President

(Washington, D.C.)-W. Thomas Musser, chairman and CEO of Tri-M Corporation, Kennett Square, Pa., and Northeast Regional President, Building One, has been elected to serve as 2000 president of Associated Builders and Contractors, effective January 1.

"Tom Musser is the ideal person to lead ABC in the new millennium," said ABC Executive Vice President Bob Hepner." Musser combines experience, enthusiasm and vision with proven leadership skills."

ABC is a national construction association representing approximately 21,000 member firms in 83 chapters. ABC is the only organization in the United States devoted exclusively to representing the interests of merit contractors.

Musser established Tri-M Electrical Contractors with his brother in 1964 and led the company through rapid growth and innovation. He has served on a number of boards and councils in his community at both the local and national level and has donated his services to several community projects In 1998, Tri-M became part of the Building One Services company network.

Musser has received numerous awards, including being a finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year contest and being named the 1995 CEO of the Year by the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry.

He has served in various leadership positions with ABC, including president of the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter and a national board member. He served for several years as a regional vice president on ABC's Executive Committee.
