HOW TO REGISTER

Bring your application and registration fee to the ABC Training Center at 19251 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, (225)752-0088, Monday - Thursday 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.


WHEN TO REGISTER

All registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each course is offered at least once a year during the Spring or Fall Semester, depending on enrollment. Courses are held 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm unless otherwise indicated.


LOCATIONS

Classes are held at the ABC Training Center at 19251 Highland Road.

Certain classes are also offered at the following satellite locations:

• Assumption High School

• Baker High School

• French Settlement High School


SEMESTER COURSE FEES

Tuition for employees of GBRIMA / Industrial Contractors Council members in good standing is $25 per course per semester.

This registration processing fee is NONREFUNDABLE.

Tuition for all other students is $225 per course per semester.

Fees for Supervisory Training, Advanced Craft Training, Safety, Specialty, and Computer course fees vary from these amounts as indicated on reverse.

Tuition may be paid with cash, money order, or company check made payable to ABC.

A separate application is needed for each course and payment is due with the application.


REFUNDS and CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel your application for a course no later than three (3) working days prior to the first day of class. Contact the ABC Training Center and a refund will be mailed to you, minus a nonrefundable $25 processing fee. If ABC cancels a course, a full refund, including the $25 processing fee, will be issued.

This schedule is subject to change without notice due to enrollment numbers and requirements. Completion of all or part of a training program does not guarantee employment. ABC Training Center does not refer students to specific members for employment. While it is our goal to train more people for the construction/maintenance industry, our main purpose is to train our members' employees.


•All Level 1 and Level 2 classes require a minimum enrollment of 15 students.
• Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) will be given to all new students.
• All classes are held two nights per week unless stated otherwise.

E&I Level 200/250 1 night/week

After completion of E&I Level 250, students choose a specialty in either Electrical or Instrumentation Program.
