1" steel plates are used on a double
tier bed of 12" crane mats to support the hillman rollers beneath the vessel.
Double-braced jack stands are used to support the elevated 1" steel
tracks that support the vessel.
400 ton hydraulic jacks lift the
vessel in a hand-off motion to ease the vessel onto the elevated passage.
When the vessel is secured, the jacks are pulled back and
lowered. |
