Ben Stiller works well in this very delibarate and nightmare vision of meeting the worst imaginable Father-In-Law.

THey take their time to set up delicious payoffs, and it is a credit to their maturity as filmmakers.

The surprise stand-out is the very perfect and obnoxious ex-boyfriend played by the epitome of sensitive new-age-males Owen Wilson. Stiller's smallness is absolutely wonderfully comtrasted by this cloying romantic overachiever.

I see no reason to elaborate here.

This too, is flat out hilarious.
